2019 here we go!

Thanks to all the fans, collaborators, radio presenters, and music venues that have supported my music in 2018, which was another wonderful year for me, with the release of my roots & folk album:  https://chriso1.bandcamp.com/album/twisted-roots-twisted-highways,

I launched an upbeat single (a co-write with John Laurence from NZ) ~ “Troubles in the Kitchen”,  and relocated to beautiful Tasmania.

Lately I’ve been working on a few new tracks for a forthcoming blues album, but have been mostly hanging out with friends, listening to some great music, enjoying the beautiful summer here in North West Tassie, and getting ready for a couple of excellent gigs in January.

From the 19th to 21st January you’ll find me in George Town at the Tamar Valley Folk Festival, where I’ll be playing a few concerts, putting on a workshop on open guitar tunings for folk and blues songs, and listening to all the other music swirling around.  http://www.tamarvalleyfolkfestival.com/

On the 30th January I head back down to Hobart to play the twilight stage at MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) ~ something I always look forward to…a place full of surprises, open minded audiences, and creative, zany staff. https://mona.net.au/stuff-to-do/jam

Another overseas tour? Maybe in the Northern autumn…let’s see ~ Tasmania is a hard place to leave!

Love Chris x
